Shirley M. Rabert

Shirley M. Rabert, 90, of Maidencreek Twp., passed away Monday, July 29th, at Maidencreek Place, Reading.

Born in Kempton on July 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Olive A. (Wessner)  and Homer A. Nester.

Shirley was the widow of Lawrence G. Rabert.

She was a 1952 graduate of Kutztown Normal School.

Shirley was a homemaker, worked at Stump's Bakery and Dietrich's Meats, the payment clerk for Hamburg Sanatorium, served as the tax collector for Albany Twp. in Berks County, and was an officer at New Bethel United Church of Christ.

She was a member of Kempton Rod and Gun Club.

Shirley is survived by 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Rabert.

Services are private at the convenience of family.
