Jay Lou Bingaman

Jay Lou Bingaman, 55, of Sunbury, passed away Saturday, April 25th, at her residence.

She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 16, 1971, a daughter of Mary Ditty, of Sunbury and the late Jan Opperman.

Jay Lou was a believer in God. As an LPN, she cared for many people while working at Nottingham Village and also during her time working in home health care. Jay Lou took great pride in her children and granddaughter, whom she loved more than anyone. Everyone loved her for her kindness, humor, spirituality and creative way of thinking.

In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her daughters: Taylor Rohrbach, wife of Matthew, of Sunbury, and Shawna Bingaman of Williamsport, a granddaughter Kehlani Duffy, her sister Krystal and brother Jan Opperman, both of Sunbury; and a niece Amber Will of Sunbury and nephew Nathan Will of Danville.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Cremation Society of Schuylkill County, Schuylkill Haven, has been entrusted with arrangements.
