Andrew G. Daley, Jr.

Andrew G. Daley, Jr., 69, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, April 30th, at home.

Born in Pottsville on August 2, 1954, he was the son of the late Pearl E. (Blackwell) and Andrew G. Daley, Sr.

After "George" attended Pottsville Area High School, he served in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas and then later, during his second tour of duty, as an SPC where he was stationed in Germany during the Persian Gulf War.

Following his military service, he was employed as a machine operator for various companies.

George loved fishing and travelling and following his favorite hockey team, the Philadelphia Flyers.

George is survived by a brother, Daniel Daley (Teri) of AZ; two sisters, Barbara Newton (Craig), of FL, Dorothy Hillman (Russ), of New Philadelphia; and a son, Duane. He is also survived by two grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.

Services are private at the convenience of family.
